This Stockholm apartment for sale via FantasticFrank is a great example of monochromatic interiors done well. The whitewashed timber floors, white painted walls and clever built in storage solutions provides a simple backdrop to highlight art, books and artefacts.
I also love the building stairway - something I miss so much about Swedish apartment blocks. Often over a hundred years old - the stairways are grand, softly curved, often with marble treads and many still retain the old lifts with screen doors. In this particular building - the entry door ( bottom image) provides a welcome splash of colour.
This apartment is in a great location in Stockholm and I envy their soon-to-be new owner!
