Todays post is all about botanicals - and how the clever team at FantasticFrank use plants, leaves and flowers as effective props for the interior styling.
I am a huge fan of plants and have a whole heap of potted plants in the apartment at the moment. Using plants, flowers and leaves is a super simple way to instantly bring life to any room. Weather they are potted, in hanging baskets or simply cut and put into a jar of water - they make a huge impact on the spaces we live in and should not be kept a luxury or for special occasions. In Sydney we are lucky to have amazing cut flowers and natives available at farmers markets and florists at affordable prices, and the trick to buying flowers and plants is to always get whats in season - they last better and are cheaper too.
I have been known to come home from a run with a couple of big green leaves in my hand, and although this used to be of great confusion to my partner - the lush green leaves are now welcomed accent to our apartment!
